PPACE and the Department’s Negotiation Teams recently met and came to a Tentative Agreement for Article 5 & Article 12 in order to be in compliance with SB241 (Legislative Session 2015). Please note that the proposed changes DO NOT impact current employees. Click here to read attachments: ARTICLE 5 & ARTICLE 12.
As per the By-Laws, the following time lines have been established:
Notification Period is 10/26/17 to 11/9/2017. An Informational Meeting will be held on 11/1/2017 at 12:30 at HQ Building A Room 109.
Voting Period will be 11/9/2017 thru 11/17/17 - All members with an active email address will get their voting instructions via email. Those without an active email on file with the PPACE Office will need to call 702-382-9121 to make an appointment to vote during the office hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday – Friday. The office will be closed on 11/10 in observance of Veterans Day.
Votes will be tabulated / verified on 11/20/17. This Tentative Agreement, if passed by the membership, will be on the December 11th Fiscal Affairs Committee agenda.
